Our software is designed to prevent children from being left on a van that utilizes a text message service enhances safety through real-time communication with parents and childcare personnel. When the child enters or departs the van the driver must manually check off each child on a digital list. Once the driver has completed the digital checklist, the software automatically sends a text message to the parents and childcare director, confirming the departure or arrival of the child. Additionally, the driver will perform a van inspection and once the inspection is completed the software will automatically send a text message to the director/owner confirming the van inspection has been completed. If a van inspection is not performed the system will send a notification to the driver and the owner reminding the driver to perform a van inspection. Our system ensures an added layer of oversight, providing peace of mind by actively engaging the parents and childcare personnel in the process, and reducing the likelihood of a child being accidentally left behind.
